Education System

Tuition Fees and Living Costs
All higher education in New Zealand requires students to pay a certain amount of fees. Although the tuition cost in New Zealand is far more reasonable than in other developed countries. As per official terms of the immigration department, a student must have at least NZD 10,200 in their account to prove the fact that they can afford their expenses.
- An undergraduate degree costs about NZD 22,000 to NZD 32,000 for an academic year.
- The master’s degree costs around NZD 26,000 to NZD 37,000 per academic year.
- Ph.D. Students may have to pay NZD 6,000 to NZD 9,000 depending on how much funding they receive in New Zealand for their studies.
